Entrepreneurial Projects (2002-Present)
Wrote business plans for several projects. While none of these businesses have been launched, most of them are still in consideration for future development. One plan was for a collaborative live-work facility based on concepts associated SRO models used in the non-profit sector. Another prospective business was a series of sponsored lectures and/or panel discussions.
Internet Public Policy Network (IPPN)(1999-2001)
Created and managed the IPPN, a company that connected organizations to the government officials, business leaders, and advocates that influence the Internet world. IPPN operated a speaker’s bureau, sold a directory and provided research on industries and policies associated with electronic commerce, telecommunications and community technology.Market Research (2001)

This was a presentation to the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers National Capital Area Council Consultants' Network. I discussed why dis-intermediation and the growing value of information have influenced so many people to become consultants. I interacted with the audience to identify their areas of expertise, how to actually make money from their knowledge, and determine what actions are needed to create a consulting practice. It used multiple online surveys to evaluate the quality of services by innovative local Internet initiatives.
